From Bethany Village, take NW Bethany Boulevard south to US-26 east, then OR-217 south to the Allen Boulevard exit. Follow SW Allen to 92nd Avenue and Garden Home Road, which becomes SW Multnomah Boulevard and runs straight into Multnomah Village. That is about 12 miles and 24 minutes outside rush hour; from Kaiser Road in North Bethany add a mile and a few minutes. When OR-217 is backed up, staying on US-26 east through the Vista Ridge Tunnel to I-405 and I-5 south, exiting at 296B for Multnomah Boulevard, is about 15 miles and takes the same 25 minutes. Cornell Road through Cedar Mill to Cedar Hills Boulevard, Barnes Road and OR-217 is the surface-street fallback at about 27 minutes.
